Nails Inc. Baker Street swatch & comparison

Today I received my Nails inc. Baker Street, I'm so happy! It is a really wonderful bright blue. The electric blue I was searching for is finally on my nails, yayyy! As it says on the bottle this is the trend shade of this spring season along with neons. 

Now lets talk about the quality of the polish. First of all I must say that one layer is almost enough, that means pigmentation is very good. The application also is very good . The finish is not glossy neither matte like neons, its somewhere in between and lastly but very important it is quick drying.

I compared Baker Street with 2 other blues i have, to see if they are similar. Essence-Walk on air is similar but darker. Basically I would describe BS as a cobalt blue and  WOA as a royal blue. The second one is Color Club-Chelsea Girl (which I hated) is lighter than Baker Street and the pigmentation is awful, applied 4 coats here, still can see my nail line. Also here I would describe CC as a Prussian blue, unlike the BS that is a cobalt blue.

H&M & Essence Haul + swatches

The other day I went shopping at H&M and Hondos Center. From H&M I bought a neon bright coral high waisted pencil skirt. Neons are big this season and I love it,it reminds me of 80's. It was hard to capture the color of the skirt because of it being neon, actually it is more pink and less orange than it looks in the photo. From H&M I also bought 2 very cute pairs of earrings, as much as skulls can be cute lol.

 From Hondos Center I bought 3 Essence Colour&Go polishes.

The first one 'a lovely secret' is a bluish lilac with pink micro glitter. It is a beautiful shade of lilac, the application was good and I used 2 coats. The only downside for me it is the fact that the beautiful pink glitter somehow dissapears, not really dissapears but is less apparent on my nails, its not like the bottle. 

Next is a beautiful minty light blue pastel creme 'you belong to me'. The application was fine and I used 2 coats. From swatches I saw, this looks very similar to Essie- Mint Candy Apple.

Lastly, my favorite of the three 'walk on air' a cobalt blue creme. Its a little darker than what i would like but the application was great 2 coats needed for full opacity. 

 I'm into these type of blue polishes since I saw Beyonce's neon bright blue nails on her first public appearance since giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy. It is such a gorgeous, eye catching blue,  I'm in love and the best thing is that I know the exact nail polish she had on thanks to her manicurist Lisa Logan who tweeted it. It was Nails Inc.-Baker Street. So I didn't resist and ordered one for me.  Cannot wait to try it out :)

Too Faced Smoky Eye Kit + Swatches

I bought this palette a few days ago from Sephora, it was on sale and was 15 euros. I like doing smoky eyes so i bought it without a second thought and didn't regret it.

As you can see in the picture above the palette consists of  9 colors, 2 of them are matte and the other 7 are frost. The first shade from the left looks a lot like Mac's Blanc Type eyeshadow that is a matte beige shade and the second from the left looks a lot like the Mac Ricepaper eyeshadow which is my favorite highlight shade. Finally, the third from the left is a black matte shade that is always useful for a smoky eye makeup. As for the remaining smaller shadows I can't say that I liked the shades alot, but they are pigmented and suitable for day and night. Below you can see swatches with and without primer. As a base I used Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Back2Mac: Up the Amp & Chatterbox

 Σήμερα θέλω να σας δείξω τα 2 κραγιόν που πήρα χθες από τα ΜΑC με Back2Mac (πρόγραμμα ανακύκλωσης της MAC όπου πηγαίνεις 6 συσκευασίες Mac που έχεις τελειώσει και σου δίνουν 1 κραγιόν της επιλογής σου σαν αντάλλαγμα) Το ένα είναι μοβ (lavender violet) και λέγεται Up the Amp και το άλλο είναι ένα ζεστό ροζ (bright red-pink) και λέγεται Chatterbox και τα δυο έχουν υφή amplified δηλαδή δίνουν έντονο χρώμα και είναι ενυδατικά. Παρόλο που η υφή amplified δεν είναι η αγαπημένη μου τα χρώματα αυτά μου αρέσουν πάρα πολύ. Ένας από τους λόγους που διάλεξα να πάρω το Chatterbox είναι ότι μοιάζει πολύ με το Viva Glam Nicki Minaj το οποίο δεν έχει έρθει ακόμα Ελλάδα και το Up the Amp το ήθελα πολύ καιρό, είναι ένα πολύ ωραίο μοβ.

Σήμερα πέρασα από τα MAC για να δω αν έχει έρθει η Shop Mac Cook Mac Collection αλλά προς μεγάλη μου έκπληξη αντί αυτής είχε έρθει η Mac for Chen Man από την οποία μου είχε αρέσει πολύ το Force of Love ένα  κοραλλορόζ κραγιόν από swatches που είχα δει στο ίντερνετ και δεν ήμουν σίγουρη για το αν αυτή η σειρά θα έρθει Ελλάδα. Η σειρά γενικά μου άρεσε πολύ και ειδικά τα κραγιόν και τα lipgloss τα οποία και έκανα swatch. Επίσης σύγκρινα το  Force of Love με 2 κραγιόν απο τη βασική σειρά: το Costa Chic και το Impassioned  και συνειδητοποίησα ότι μοιάζει πάρα πολύ με  το Impassioned, η μόνη διαφορά είναι η υφή, το ένα είναι  matte και το άλλο amplified. Ευτυχώς,  έχω το Impassioned και δεν το αγόρασα αλλά έκανα Back2Mac! (πρόγραμμα ανακύκλωσης της MAC όπου πηγαίνεις 6 συσκευασίες Mac που έχεις τελειώσει και σου δίνουν 1 κραγιόν της επιλογής σου σαν αντάλλαγμα) και πήρα 2 κραγιόν από την βασική σειρά τα οποία θα σας δείξω σε επόμενο ποστ

  Σήμερα ήρθε η παραγγελία από ebay που είχαμε κάνει μαζί με την φίλη μου! Μόλις πήρα το δέμα κάλεσα την φίλη μου για καφέ χωρίς να της πω για το δέμα, και της έκανα έκπληξη. Στην παραπάνω φωτογραφία τα πρώτα 4 βερνίκια από αριστερά είναι της φίλης μου και τα υπόλοιπα δικά μου. Πίνοντας τα καφεδάκια μας κάναμε και τα swatch των καινούριων μας βερνικιών. Απο όλα τα χρώματα περισσότερο μου άρεσε το Color Club Poptastic (νέον φούξια) τόσο το χρώμα όσο και το ότι μια στρώση είναι σχεδόν αρκετή, η δεύτερη τελειοποιεί το αποτέλεσμα. Απο την άλλη το Chelsea Girl της Color Club το μπλε ελεκτρίκ, ναι μεν σαν χρώμα είναι ακριβώς αυτό που έψαχνα αλλά έχει την χειρότερη εφαρμογή θέλει τουλάχιστον 4-5 στρώσεις για να καλύψει το νύχι. Εγώ στα swatch που βλέπετε παρακάτω είχα βάλει 5 στρώσεις. Εκτός από τα swatch είπαμε να κάνουμε και μία σύγκριση τα χρώματα που μοιάζουν μεταξύ τους όπως θα δείτε παρακάτω.

  Bugun, arkadasimla ebayden aldigimiz ojelerimiz geldi! Paketi gordugumde hemen onu aradim ve kahve icmeye davet ettim  pakedin geldigini soylemedim ona surpriz yaptim. Yukaridaki fotografta gordugunuz soldan ilk  4 oje arkadasima, digerleride bana ait. Hepsinin icinden favorim Color Club Poptastic (neon pembe) oldu, neredeyse 1 kat yetiyor diyebilirim , en nefret ettigim ojede  Color Club Chelsea Girl (elektrik mavi) oldu. Aslinda renk olarak cok guzel bir mavi, tam istedigim mavi tonu, fakat, en azindan 4-5 kat surmek istiyor, asagida gordugunuz swatchlarda 5 kat surdum.  Swatchlarin haricinde, bide benzeyen renkleri karsilastirdik onlarida asagida gorebilirsiniz.
