MAC 3D Silver Glitter

One of my favorite products from MAC is definitely the 3D Silver glitter, obviously, it's on my blog's header (which, btw, I'm planning to change). This is a multi-colored glitter in silver base. It's meant to be used on the body, lips, face (like cheeks) and nails. It's not safe for use on the eyes but I use it sometimes, you need to be very careful when using it on your eyes.  To apply it you just have to use a sticky base like a glitter adhesive. I use Mixing Medium Gel by MAC. 3D silver glitter is ideal for party and night out makeup.

I love how it sparkles!

Do you use glitter on your eye makeup?

Grey & Gold French Manicure

I like this combination of grey and gold! It's a very simple french manicure type of look but looks so classy and elegant. I used OPI Skulls and Glossbones and China Glaze 2030. I'll try this color combination on my clothing too!

Beauty Blender Review

Βlender.

DIY: How to wear a dupatta as a coctail dress. No sew

Hello friends!

Today's post is not about makeup but fashion and particularly clothing. I would say it is a DIY project.

A couple of months ago, a lovely friend of mine had her henna night. Until the very last day I didn't have any idea about what to wear but fortunately I thought of combining an old dress of mine with a dupatta (a long, multi-purpose scarf that is essential to many South Asian women's suits and matches the woman's garments).  I immediately tried on the dress and began to try different styles of draping the dupatta and in less than 10 minutes I had decided and the dress was ready. I just used a couple of pins to secure the dupatta over the dress and a silver chain belt to finish the look. The dress is a midi bodycon dress from ASOS and the dupatta which is pre-owned is from ebay

So if you have an old midi dress you want to transform into a new indo-western style dress you will need:

  •  a matching color dupatta
  •  some dressmaking pins
  •  a belt
It's very simple and no sewing required!

Some tips for the dupatta: The dupatta can be made from many kinds of fabric. It is often heavily embroidered or made with a contrasting border. Linen, cotton, silk and chiffon are all common materials used. In my opinion, choosing a more transparent fabric like a net dupatta will give a better result in matching with the dress than with a less transparent dupatta.

Here I am with two of my beautiful friends. They look gorgeous!

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did and I hope you get inspired to renew your dress.

Would you try this diy project? Let me know, I would like to see your creations.

Mehndi- Henna Night Makeup Look

Hello beauties!

There is only 2 months left until my wedding and I'm so excited and stressed at the same time. I have so many things to do and to think about. One of them is my bridal makeup. I don't know if I did the right thing but I decided to do my own makeup without the help of a professional. I will have to do my bridal makeup three times, for the photography day, for the wedding day and for the henna day. So I need to do many makeup trials before I decide for the final look and this is one of them and its for the mehndi day. I chose to use pinks, peaches and purples for this look because I think they complement my lehenga which is peachy pink in color, but I may do other looks too, using other color combinations.
